Job summary

Curative is seeking an accomplished Security Engineer to own end-to-end security architecture across our software and AI ecosystem. Lead detection, response, and prevention efforts while embedding security into our development lifecycle and AWS baseline.

You will shape security tooling for AI, govern LLM usage, and mentor engineers, partnering with IT and software teams to safeguard data and operations in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering with growth into technical leadership.
• Deep hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Datadog, ELK) and AWS security.
• Proven ability to secure AI/LLM-based systems and internal tooling.
• Strong software development background in Python/Go/TypeScript or shell.
• Experience building security into the SDLC, threat modeling, and secure design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own and ship detection, response, and visibility platforms across cloud, endpoints, and SaaS.
• Lead product security across threat modeling, SAST/DAST, and secure CI/CD gates.
• Develop AI-powered security tooling and governance for LLM-based systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive security engineering standards across teams.
