Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Product and Platform Security to lead security initiatives across its products, cloud platforms, GPU clusters, and infrastructure. You’ll partner with engineering, platform, and security teams to reduce risk through architecture reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, secure development, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security with hands-on product, platform, or vulnerability management experience.
• Deep knowledge of threat modeling, security architecture, vulnerability assessment, and secure coding practices.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of CVSS, risk quantification, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments and security reviews of core services and APIs.
• Conduct threat modeling and architecture reviews for new products and platform changes.
• Provide guidance on secure design, authentication, authorization, data protection, and infrastructure security.
• Develop reusable security standards and guardrails for secure scalable deployment.
