Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Senior Staff Security Engineer as a founding member of our Platform Security program.

You will go deep on how our IaaS platform is built, performing security reviews, mapping architecture, and producing assurance evidence across GPU compute, storage, virtual networking, and Kubernetes: You will work hands-on with platform, SRE, and infra teams to land fixes, define secure-by-default patterns, and drive remediation with leadership across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in security engineering, platform/infrastructure engineering, or security architecture with a deep platform security focus.
• Experience at a cloud services provider securing or assessing IaaS where the platform was the product.
• Deep multi-tenant isolation knowledge across bare metal, hypervisors, containers, and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive security reviews of IaaS services, produce architecture, threat models, findings, and remediation plans.
• Define security requirements baselines and review designs against them.
• Prioritize findings by exploitability and advise leadership on gaps to close.
• Review GPU compute stack, storage, virtual networking, Kubernetes, and Slurm for isolation and security.
