LinkedIn is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to reinforce the security posture of our core products, cloud infrastructure, and development workflows. This role is based in Mountain View with a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work and office days as needed.

You will lead threat modeling, design secure-by-default frameworks, execute architecture reviews, and build scalable tooling to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities at scale.

Formación

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with web/security and secure lifecycle practices.
• 5+ years in security engineering with application security and cryptography knowledge.
• Experience with threat modeling, design reviews, pentesting, and vulnerability assessment.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience building tooling to detect and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Own SSDLC and shift-left security controls across engineering platforms.
• Architect and build secure-by-default frameworks and guardrails for cloud and microservices.
• Build automation and security tooling to identify, reproduce, and mitigate vulnerabilities at scale.
• Lead threat modeling, architecture reviews, and risk assessments for complex systems.
• Define security standards, reference architectures, and policies across product development and data storage.
