Job summary
Genesys is building AI-powered customer experiences at scale. We are seeking an experienced automation engineer to lead test automation for UI and backend components, contribute to code reviews, and mentor peers.
You will design secure, scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software in a flexible, multinational environment. You will work with modern web tech, REST APIs, and AI-driven testing methods, while communicating effectively in
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/Java automation frameworks, exposure to Angular.
- Experience with browser JS APIs (DOM, postMessage, localStorage).
- Working experience with REST APIs or other API technologies.
- Experience with AI in testing, nondeterministic testing, AI skills and agents.
- Version control tools and processes (Git and Gitflow).
- Continuous delivery of cloud-based software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of test automation for UI and backend components.
- Contribute to code reviews and promote best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Design secure, scalable backend and frontend solutions for user stories.
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge across teams.
- Estimate work and decompose epics into actionable tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders and manage dependencies.
- Present work in product demos with clear designs and solutions.
