Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Boulder, CO is seeking a senior software product manager to translate customer needs into software requirements and drive product strategy. You will work with sales, engineering, and assay teams to accelerate delivery of customer value on on-site projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in roles translating user and business needs into software requirements.
• 3+ years of experience in software product management or equivalent.
• Experience with NGS, bioinformatics, genomic data analysis, or similar life-science software domains.
• Experience prioritizing backlogs and developing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and enhancements in Agile environments.
• Proven ability to communicate business cases and tradeoffs to technical and stakeholder audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers, sales teams, and stakeholders to understand workflows and market trends.
• Partner with product managers, assay teams, and software groups to shape software strategy and backlog priorities.
• Translate customer needs into software requirements, user workflows, and acceptance criteria in Agile settings.
• Lead product management activities for new product introductions, including business case development and cross-functional execution.
• Provide product support for internal software tools and optimize workflows to meet business goals.
