Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Staffing Coordinator 2 to support James Nursing Supervisors by coordinating staffing resources and handling related clerical tasks in a hospital setting. The role requires flexibility for a third shift and weekends.

Under supervision of the Manager for Nursing Support Services, you will assist with staffing coordination across the hospital and produce department communications and reports as needed. Location: James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; certification or vocational training may be preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Hours are variable, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing resources across the James Cancer Hospital.
• Provide clerical support for the Float Pool and Clinical Resources cost center.
• Produce educational materials and other department communications.
• Generate reports and data for department operations.
