Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Florida is seeking a Staff Coordinator/Scheduler to develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly staffing for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, ensuring coverage and patient care.

You will help minimize overtime, verify timekeeping, comply with state staffing rules, support onboarding with orientation schedules, and respond to call-outs to fill gaps.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare scheduling or staff coordination experience.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and spreadsheets.
• Licensed LPN in Florida.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Staff Coordinator/Scheduler

What You Will Do

• Develop, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)


• Manage the reduction of overtime, and ensure timekeeping accuracy


• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility staffing requirements for all shifts


• Respond promptly to call-outs and find appropriate coverage to avoid staffing gaps


• Support new employee onboarding by coordinating orientation schedules and shadowing/preceptor shifts

What You Must Have

• Previous experience in healthcare scheduling or staff coordination (preferred in skilled nursing or long-term care)


• Proficiency with scheduling software, spreadsheets, and computer systems


• Licensed LPN in the state of Florida
