Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Staff Sales Systems Engineer to lead the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, serving as the key technical advisor and product advocate for the extended sales team. You will articulate Stryker’s Smart Care solutions to business and technical users, and analyze customer mobile communications and workflow requirements.

You will partner with the Sales team, work with the customer’s IT team to align deployment methodologies, and qualify networks using Ekahau AI Pro

Qualifications

• B.S. in Information Technology or related field, or 6+ years additional relevant work experience.
• Minimum 4 years in technical sales or integration development for healthcare organizations.
• Deep understanding of Windows, Linux and Cloud architectures.
• Solid understanding of server virtualization.
• 50% travel throughout the territory, specifically Western US.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to educate customers on the value of Stryker’s Smart Care solutions through demonstrations and presentations.
• Collaborate with the customer’s IT team to ensure they understand deployment methodologies and requirements.
• Qualify customer network infrastructure via Ekahau AI Pro Survey, Omnipeek, and Wireshark analyses.
• Design Smart Care architecture for deployments and prepare infrastructure assessment reports for the professional services team.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and IT questionnaires; participate in trade shows and events as needed.

As a Staff Sales Systems Engineer at Stryker, you will be responsible for actively leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working with the extended sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate. You will articulate Stryker’s Smart Care technology solutions and product positioning to business and technical users. Pre-sales activities include understanding the customer's business and analyzing their mobile communications and workflow requirements.

What you will do:

• You will partner with the Sales team to help educate customers on the value of Stryker’s Smart Care solutions through product demonstrations and presentations
• Work closely with the customer's IT team to ensure they fully understand our deployment methodologies and requirements
• You will qualify our customer's network infrastructure via assessments using Ekahau AI Pro Survey, Omnipeek, and Wireshark analysis tools
• Design Smart Care architecture for customer deployments and prepare customer infrastructure assessment reports for our professional services team
• You will respond to RFIs/RFPs and IT questionnaires and take part in trade shows, conferencing and marketing events as needed

What you need:

Required:

• B.S. in Information Technology or related field; or in lieu of Bachelors, 6+ years additional relevant work experience
• Minimum 4 years experience in technical sales or integration development for healthcare organizations
• Deep understanding of Windows, Linux and Cloud architectures
• Solid understanding of server virtualization
• 50% travel throughout the territory is required specifically: Western US

Preferred:

• 2+ years of enterprise 802.11 wireless and LAN/ WAN networking experience
• Hands on experience deploying Mobile Applications for Smartphones via MDM solutions
• Experience with middleware and EMR/EHR applications
• Integration knowledge and experience with 3rd party systems (e.g. Nurse Call, Patient Monitoring, Middleware, and SIP trunking)
• Wi-Fi or Route/Switch certifications preferred
• Experience with SIP and Traditional TDM Telephony

• USN: $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual
• US5: $93,800 - $156,200 USD Annual
• US10: $98,200 - $163,700 USD Annual
• US15: $102,700 - $171,100 USD Annual
• US20: $107,200 - $178,600 USD Annual
• US30: $116,100 - $193,400 USD Annual
