Hercules is seeking a staff-level platform engineer to help us build the future of AI software development. You will lead the Hercules platform-as-a-service, shaping the infrastructure, APIs, and tooling that power our products.

Expect to own design, performance, and hosting improvements for multi-tenant environments, with a stack including TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Docker, and Terraform. Strong system design and Rust skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in system design, architecture, data modeling and API design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the platform-as-a-service for Hercules.
• Design and evolve APIs and SDKs for external use.
• Ensure low latency, high throughput, and efficient resource use.
• Build and operate hosting infrastructure with tenant isolation and observability.
• Collaborate across teams to advance the Hercules stack and platform.
