Job summary
Hercules is seeking a senior or staff level infrastructure engineer to help us build the future of AI software development. You will design and scale the infrastructure powering our AI Agent, App Builder, App Hosting, SDK, and Platform.
You will own multi-tenant services, data-intensive workloads, and collaborate across product teams to ship reliable systems. The role values independent delivery, strong system design, and a hunger to push the frontier of AI-enabled development.
Qualifications
- Strong foundations in system design, data modeling, API design.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work in monorepos.
- Experience building scaleable, multi-tenant distributed services.
- Proven track record shipping changes that impact customers.
- Familiarity with our core stack: TypeScript, React, containers, Postgres, Redis, Temporal.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the infrastructure powering our AI Agent, App Builder, App Hosting, SDK, and Platform.
- Scale large, data-intensive, multi-tenant services.
- Ensure reliability, observability, and performance of distributed systems.
- Collaborate with product and design to ship impactful features.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and code quality improvements.
