Job summary

Industrial Next (YC W22) is building a rapidly scalable robotic system for fully autonomous factories. We ship across embodiments and demand ≥99% success at customer cycle times, with a shared stack that must stay coherent as we scale.

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Robotics Systems Engineer to own system architecture, vendor qualification, interfaces, and integration across mechanical, electrical, firmware and software.

Qualifications

• BS in ME/EE/Robotics or equivalent industry depth.
• 8+ years shipping robotic or hardware systems to paying customers.
• Authored interface control documents and architecture specs.
• Fluency in Python/C++/ROS and ability to drill into perception, motion, or controls.

Responsibilities

• Drive system architecture across mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, and sensors as the product scales.
• Define integration and acceptance criteria; partner with deployment to harden the product for customers.
• Drive vendor selection and qualification for components and subsystems.
