Columbus Regional Healthcare System seeks an experienced RN to provide primary nursing care across antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and gynecologic units, plus medical/surgical and orthopedic patients. The role requires NC or compact RN licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, care planning with the treatment team, patient education, and safe discharge processes to support optimal maternal and newborn outcomes.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current, valid and unrestricted RN license from NC or compact state.
• BLS certification.
• CPI certification required at first opportunity after hire.
• NRP knowledge of fetal monitoring and orthopedic training within 1 year of hire.
• Competence in newborn, adult, and orthopedic patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional primary nursing care to antepartum, laboring, postpartum, gynecologic, medical/surgical overflow, and orthopedic patients.
• Monitor fetal status and respond to emergencies per unit protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians, set care plans, and document accurately.
• Educate patients and families and ensure safe discharge planning.

Job Description:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current, valid and unrestricted RN license from NC or compact state.
• BLS certification.
• CPI certification required at first opportunity after hire.
• NRP knowledge of fetal monitoring and orthopedic specific training within 1 year of hire.
• Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to newborn and adult, and orthopedic patients.

Preferred: BSN, MSN, National Board Certification in Clinical area of Specialty.

Experience:

No experience required. Given training an on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within 3 months.
