Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. The nurse will manage care for an assigned group of patients while upholding the hospital's values of collaboration, communication and empowerment.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BLS certification, and color vision, with preferred ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
