Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and hospital guidelines. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will contribute to care coordination, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Weekend/evening shifts offered; full-time positions required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Color vision adequate for unit-specific duties.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manage care for an assigned group of patients in line with hospital policies.
• Demonstrate collaboration, communication, coordination, integration and empowerment in practice.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Work Hours:

7:30- 5pm
