Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a full-time registered nurse for the Medical Unit 4, day shift (7a-7p), 36 hours per week. You will provide general nursing care across the continuum in acute care settings and adhere to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act while collaborating with the care team.

The role requires assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with responsibility for directing tasks to licensed staff and participating in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN degree required (5 years from start of employment).

Responsibilities

• Assessment and ongoing health status evaluation for patients.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs.
• Lead process improvement to achieve quality, safety, and patient experience.
• Provide care in a 24/7 department with daily 7a–7p coverage.
