Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an RN for night shift coverage in Georgia. The Registered Nurse will independently plan and deliver professional nursing care in alignment with physician orders and established guidelines, operating within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia RN license with current BLS certification; BSN is preferred. Two years of RN experience and additional life support certifications are advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Complies with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies while delivering patient care.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective and compassionate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7pm-7am
