Job summary

The role requires an RN license in Georgia, BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred with 2 years of RN experience. The schedule is 7am-3:30pm, aligning with hospital needs and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as an RN preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adheres to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrates clinical competencies and maintains patient safety during shifts.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
