Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide nursing care to patients in line with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act guidelines. The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS certification, and a degree from an accredited nursing program, with a BSN preferred and potential for clinical specialty credentials.

Typical shifts run 05:30–18:00. Opportunities exist across Atlanta and surrounding communities, with emphasis on patient safety

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
