Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Cardiovascular RN to provide high-quality care to cardiac patients in the Heart Failure Clinic. The role includes monitoring, patient education, and serving as a nursing resource within the clinic, aligned with Northside Hospital policies.

The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, emphasizing consistent patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provides monitoring, support and patient education to congestive heart failure patients.
• Acts as a nursing resource in Heart Failure Clinic in accordance with hospital policies.
• Works Monday - Friday with no weekends, holidays, or call.

Responsibilities

Working in a Heart Failure Clinic setting, the Cardiovascular RN provides high quality patient care to the cardiac patient in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The Cardiovascular RN acts as a nursing resource as it relates to their area of responsibility. In the Heart Failure Clinic, the RN provides monitoring, support and patient education to congestive heart failure patient population.

Monday - Friday schedule

No weekends, holidays, or call

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
