Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular RN to deliver high-quality care to cardiac patients in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNLC) and BLS certification. Preferred BSN, 5 years RN experience, and ACLS/PALS or other certifications.

Work hours are 7:30-4 with no weekend requirements and no on-call shifts. This is a full-time position in Atlanta and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Multistate License (NLC/eNLC).
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality patient care to the cardiac patient in accordance with Northside Hospital policies.
• Acts as a nursing resource in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic and supports patient care through monitoring, support and patient education for CHF patients.

Responsibilities

The Cardiovascular RN provides high quality patient care to the cardiac patient in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The Cardiovascular RN acts as a nursing resource as it relates to their area of responsibility in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic and will support patient care by providing monitoring, support and patient education to congestive heart failure patient population.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) orMultistate License
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Five (5) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) at Northside.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
