Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Cardiovascular RN to provide high-quality care in the Heart Failure Clinic. You will monitor patients, support the care team, and educate congestive heart failure patients and families in accordance with hospital policies.

This role features a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, offering stable hours in a fast-growing cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• BLS certification as required by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Heart Failure Clinic.
• Serve as a nursing resource for cardiovascular care, with monitoring, support and education for congestive heart failure patients.

Responsibilities

Working in a Heart Failure Clinic setting, the Cardiovascular RN provides high quality patient care to the cardiac patient in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The Cardiovascular RN acts as a nursing resource as it relates to their area of responsibility. In the Heart Failure Clinic, the RN provides monitoring, support and patient education to congestive heart failure patient population.

Monday - Friday schedule

No weekends, holidays, or call

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
