We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

You will work as part of a collaborative healthcare team to provide respiratory care, monitor residents, and support their overall comfort and well‑being.

Provide respiratory therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
Perform respiratory assessments and monitor residents for changes in respiratory status.
Provide treatments such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, breathing treatments, and other respiratory care as ordered.
Assist with respiratory equipment and ensure equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
Monitor oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, lung sounds, and other relevant clinical indicators.
Recognize changes in a resident's respiratory condition and communicate concerns promptly to nursing and medical staff.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow infection‑control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
Provide compassionate, respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
Current Respiratory Therapist license/credential required for the applicable state.
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Current BLS certification required.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long‑term care, hospital, rehabilitation, or post‑acute setting is preferred but not required.
Strong assessment and communication skills.
