Job summary

Form Energy in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability and lifetime of iron-air packs and deployed systems. You will lead reliability test development and design for reliability across pack subsystems, reporting to the Systems Reliability team.

This role offers the chance to shape reliability strategy in a fast-growing company with breakthrough technology, working with cross-functional teams focused on safety and scale.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering or related field.
Experience leading reliability test development and design for complex electro-mechanical systems.
Experience with PCB testing and accelerated lifetime testing.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead reliability test development for pack-level subsystems and deployed systems.
Translate product goals into reliability requirements and roadmap for component lifetimes.
Design experiments to uncover failure mechanisms and validate reliability.
Champion safety and collaborative work across teams.
