ZT Systems is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer in Secaucus, NJ to design and implement reliability strategies for hyperscale cloud hardware. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet reliability goals and support data center deployments.

The role emphasizes Design for Reliability, data analysis, and development of scripts to simulate operating conditions. A BS in engineering or CS is required with 2+ years of related experience and knowledge of hardware architectures.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in electrical engineering, CS/engineering, or software development.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in reliability or hardware
• Knowledge of computer systems/hardware structure and switch/network interfaces
• Experience with Python or Unix scripting and reliability modeling

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability test regimens for cloud hardware.
• Act as reliability consultant interfacing with PM, vendors, and design engineering.
• Create or update reliability guidelines to improve field performance.
• Develop scripts to model expected environments and operating conditions
