Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Development.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of computer systems/hardware structure and switch/network interfaces.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or Unix (Bash and/or PowerShell).
• Knowledge of statistical and probability techniques and reliability modeling.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and implement reliability test regimens for cloud hardware.
• Act as internal consultant on reliability matters and interface with program management, vendors, and design engineering.
• Create or revise reliability guidelines to improve field performance and meet reliability goals.
• Develop scripts that simulate expected environments and operational conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply Design for Reliability principles.
