Job Description & Requirements

Our Patient Population:

• 21 Bed unit providing care to Cardiac/Telemetry care patients.
• Diagnosis includes: Cardiac Arrhythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, Peritoneal Dialysis.
• Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation, and Telemetry.
• 7 South RNs are ACLS certified within 6 months to respond to all hospital codes.
• Supportive learning environment, team approach, patient-centric care to optimize patient outcomes.

Develop and expand your practice with:

• Nurse Residency and Preceptor-directed orientation.
• Skills in telemetry interpretation, cardiac arrhythmias, CHF, chest pain, MI, dialysis assessments, and interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate comprehensive patient care to deliver safe, therapeutic care according to standards and policies.
• Provide continuity of care through 12-hour shifts, patient-centered approach, and team support.
• Be part of a skilled, resilient nursing team committed to quality and compassionate healthcare.

Licensure, Registration, and Certification:

• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Education:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Experience:

• Open to new grads, newly licensed, and experienced RNs.

Physical and Working Conditions:

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach, and twist frequently.
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, 20 lbs overhead, carry 40 lbs, push/pull 30 lbs, perform transfers with assistance, and operate equipment.
• Exposure to chemicals, hazardous waste, blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases; protective gear required.
• Functional speech, vision, hearing, touch, and fine motor skills needed.
