Job summary

Shannon Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our rehabilitation team. You will supervise care, lead assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to support recovery.

We value strong patient relationships, collaborative care across departments, and supporting staff with complex cases. A valid RN license and CPR are required; ACLS and CRRN are preferred, along with experience in rehab settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
