Job summary

Shannon Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, is seeking an Registered Nurse to join our rehab team on site. This role offers opportunities for collaboration across departments to deliver coordinated patient care and support recovery plans.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, CPR cert, and may have ACLS/CRRN credentials; prior rehab hospital experience is preferred. We encourage ongoing education and professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
