Job summary

Greenlight is seeking a Staff Product Security Engineer to lead end-to-end security for consumer products, platform, and hardware devices. You will drive threat modeling, perform penetration testing, and oversee PSIRT operations in a regulated financial services context.

You will mentor engineers, shape enterprise policies for AI development, and collaborate with product, design, and legal teams to balance security with innovation. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Product Security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product security spanning app, cloud, SDLC and incident response.
• Threat modeling with STRIDE/PASTA across web, mobile, cloud, embedded and AI systems.
• Hands-on pentesting across applications, API, cloud and hardware/firmware.
• Experience with PSIRT processes and CVE/PSIRT frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture/design reviews and threat modeling sessions with product/engineering teams.
• Translate threats into risk-rated remediations prioritized by severity.
• Conduct hands-on security assessments; produce actionable reports for engineering and leadership.
• Red-team AI-powered products and development tools; test prompt injection, data exfiltration, and guardrails.
• Drive PSIRT operations: triage, investigate, coordinate remediation, manage disclosures.
