Qualifications

• 15+ years in complex software product development.
• 8+ years in Ruby on Rails development.
• 8+ years experience with large-scale databases.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp new tools and technologies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
• Ability to distill complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of ActiveRecord (Rails).
• Ability to build relationships with product, development, leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery, quality and uptime of critical features/systems.
• Impact objectives spanning departments.
• Lead technical decisions with broad impact.
• Evolve technical domain knowledge and strategic goals.
• Define long-term technical goals and initiatives.

• Ensure high-quality software designs and architecture.
