Qualifications

• Engineering degree and 8+ years of experience in medical device R&D.
• 8+ years of relevant medical device R&D experience, including early-stage product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-stage R&D activities for innovative cardiovascular medical devices.
• Assess front-end opportunities via competitive landscape, emerging tech, clinical trends, unmet needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Clinical teams to conduct VOC activities and define opportunities.
• Drive concept generation, feasibility assessments, and early prototyping for device platforms.
• Support development of innovation strategies aligned with business and clinical priorities.
• Translate insights into actionable product concepts and development plans.
• Work across engineering, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams throughout the process.
• Maintain awareness of IP, market dynamics in cardiovascular therapies.
