Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
• Experience leading technical projects and prototype development.
• Experience in catheter-based medical device development is preferred.
• Ability to translate user needs into engineering requirements and specs.
• Proficiency with GD&T, CAD/CAE tools, and design controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept-stage R&D projects for catheter-based electromechanical systems.
• Translate clinical insights into innovative technical solutions and concepts.
• Design, modify, and verify catheter components and subsystems with minimal supervision.
• Develop system architectures and design specifications.
• Lead prototyping, testing, and rapid iteration to validate feasibility and value.
• Apply data-driven analysis to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with physicians, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain DHFs, risk assessments, and technical reports.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy across teams.
