Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechatronics engineering with relevant field.
• Minimum eight years of engineering experience in product development.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize complex electrical/electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience translating user needs into technical requirements, system architectures, and product specifications.
• Strong leadership to mentor engineers and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evaluation of complex electro-mechanical systems and platform architectures for medical devices.
• Guide decisions across electrical, mechanical, and system designs balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability and cost.
• Lead prototyping, testing, verification, and resolution of technical challenges using data-driven analysis.
• Apply engineering principles to solve multidisciplinary problems spanning mechanical, electrical, and system domains.
• Partner with clinical stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate customer insights into solutions.
• Drive patent development and evaluation/integration of emerging technologies.
• Mentor engineers and influence electrical engineering initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Manufacturing and Marketing for product development and commercialization.
• Act as independent reviewer of engineering documentation to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
• Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and product performance.
