Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure integrity and reliability of data center infrastructure. You will lead site QA/QC activities, perform field inspections across MEP systems, and coordinate with GC and commissioning teams to drive timely turnovers.

You will develop quality plans, review documentation, and help root-cause analysis for defects. This is a full-time on-site role in Amarillo, TX with strong safety and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction QA/QC or related roles.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and commissioning readiness.
• Experience with field inspections, punch walks, NCRs, and QA docs.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, submittals, and test reports.
• Experience coordinating with GCs, subs, inspectors, and commissioning teams.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced field environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level QA/QC program for data center construction.
• Develop and execute inspection plans, checklists, and quality docs.
• Perform field inspections across civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning.
• Validate installations against drawings and specs; ensure code compliance.
• Track deficiencies, NCRs, punch items through closure with teams.
• Support pre-functional and functional readiness activities with commissioning.
• Review turnover docs for completeness and accuracy; support root-cause analysis.
• Escalate quality risks early to protect schedule and turnover.
