Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality engineering across our multi-tenant SaaS platform. You’ll define automation architecture, build reusable test frameworks, and drive risk-based testing across Identity, Authority, Execution, and Assurance planes.

You’ll partner with Product, Security, and Cloud Ops, mentoring engineers and shaping release readiness through evidence-based quality gates and scalable testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in software quality engineering or QA with automation and multi-team leadership.
• Strong programming skills and experience building scalable automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own quality strategy across distributed SaaS services and APIs.
• Design reusable automation frameworks and test data capabilities.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates.
• Lead performance and scalability validation including load and stress testing.
• Define robustness for dependency failures and failover strategies.
• Collaborate with Security and Architecture on identity and authorization tests.
• Create production-like test environments and data handling practices.
• Guide defect investigations and cross-team root-cause analysis.
• Develop quality reporting that shows risk, coverage and readiness.
• Mentor engineers and lead test-design reviews.
