Job summary

Entrust is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated tests for the Entrust Agentic Trust SaaS platform. You’ll own test strategy across features and services, focusing on automation, robustness, performance, and scalability in distributed multi-tenant environments.

You will collaborate with Software Development, Product, Security, and Cloud Ops to translate requirements into risk-based test plans, provide release readiness evidence, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in software quality engineering or software development with test automation.
• Strong programming proficiency in at least one modern language and automation skills.
• Experience testing SaaS services in cloud environments (APIs, distributed systems, multi-tenant).
• Hands-on performance and scalability testing; workload design and resilience validation.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, and production telemetry.
• Ability to deliver complex testing tasks independently and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own test planning and quality execution for complex features and services.
• Develop and maintain code-based API, integration, contract, end-to-end, and regression automation.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and improve stability and efficiency.
• Design load, stress, spike, and soak tests for SaaS workloads and analyze latency and throughput.
• Validate robustness under concurrency, retries, timeouts, and failure scenarios.
• Test tenant isolation, authentication, authorization, and evidence integrity with Security and Development teams.
• Create and maintain production-representative test environments and de-identified data.
• Investigate defects and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to regression prevention.
• Communicate coverage gaps and residual risks to stakeholders with release-readiness recommendations.
• Mentor engineers in automation and test design; contribute to quality practices.
