Job summary

Tatari, a leading TV advertising platform, is seeking a Staff QA Engineer to join the Buying and Optimization team in a hybrid US-based role. You will raise testing standards, shape automation strategy, and partner with product leaders to ensure reliability across our platform.

You will design and implement an end-to-end Playwright framework, write core tests in TypeScript and Python, integrate tests into CI/CD, mentor peers, and drive quality initiatives across engineering and QA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SDET/QA Automation roles.
• Expert in automated E2E testing (Playwright preferred).
• Strong TS and Python skills; experience with React apps and SQL is a plus.
• History of building test automation frameworks from scratch at scale.
• Ability to set testing strategy and drive adoption across teams.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end test framework (Playwright).
• Set technical direction for test automation and tooling.”
• Write and improve unit and integration tests (TypeScript/Python).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and stabilize pipelines.
• Develop data validation and API contract tests; prepare test data for sandbox/staging.
• Conduct exploratory testing on high-risk workflows and review automation code.
• Provide risk assessments and coverage data to leadership for releases.
• Mentor engineers, participate in technical interviews for QA roles.
