Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is seeking a Project Engineer II to manage product development and maintenance projects under the PDP framework. The role leads a project team through planning, organization, and execution to achieve objectives for New Product Development and cost/quality improvements, in a hybrid setting in Roswell, GA or Montgomery, AL.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, budget and schedule adherence, and effective design, CAD/visualization, and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of related experience in Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Proven work experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with industry rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Strong project management and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design evaluations to ensure project feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
• Work to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
• Review industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
• Provide technical support throughout the engineering process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges.
• Design, implement, and communicate an operational plan for completing the project; monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identify, develop, and gather resources necessary to complete the project.
• Prepare engineering designs and work specifications.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
