Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a Staff Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs in the Infra base station space, focusing on 5G/6G chipsets.

You will own plan of record development, schedule and budget management, and risk mitigation across silicon, systems, and software integrations. You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to align priorities, drive execution discipline, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in engineering or CS.
• 5+ years of experience with digital SOC and/or mixed-signal baseband and/or RF chips.
• 2+ years of experience interacting with senior leadership.
• 2+ years in a large matrixed organization.
• 2+ years of experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.
• 2+ years in telecommunication, wireless cellular industry.

Responsibilities

• Drives large cross-functional engineering teams across program life cycles from conception to commercialization.
• Develops Plan of Record commitments with Product Management and Engineering for prioritization.
• Establishes execution discipline and executive reporting, including risk tracking and recovery actions.
• Develops program indicators to manage program health and timelines.
• Tracks budgets, schedules, milestones, and performance against plan of record.
• Represents the program and aligns stakeholders across functions and leadership.
