Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Staff Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for GM Motorsports data and analytics products across NASCAR and IndyCar programs. You will partner with stakeholders and guide data science and data engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will own the product vision and backlog, act as scrum lead, and work with Strategy, Vehicle Performance, and Competition Engineering to translate requirements into features and experiments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management/owner or similar role.
• Experience defining product vision and multi-release roadmaps.
• Experience delivering digital/data products in an agile environment.
• Experience as Product Owner and/or scrum lead for one or more agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable Product Owner for cross-functional data science and data engineering teams.
• Own and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for motorsports analytics and data products.
• Act as scrum lead: refine backlog, plan sprints, conduct reviews and retrospectives, define user stories and acceptance criteria.
