Job summary

General Motors in Concord, NC seeks a Senior Product Owner to lead strategy, roadmap, and delivery for GM Motorsports data and analytics products spanning NASCAR and other programs. You will own the vision, manage cross-functional teams of data scientists and engineers, and align initiatives with business goals.

You’ll act as scrum lead, translate stakeholder needs into features, measure outcomes with KPIs, and mentor others.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years experience in product management/ownership or similar role.
Proven experience defining product vision, roadmaps, and managing complex backlogs.

Responsibilities

Serve as the accountable Product Owner for cross-functional data science and data engineering teams.
Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for motorsports analytics and data products.
Act as scrum lead: backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Translate complex stakeholder needs into actionable features and experiments.
Define KPIs and adoption metrics; iterate roadmaps based on data and feedback.
Mentor other product owners and influence delivery practices.
