Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Product Owner for GM Motorsports IT to define and deliver next-gen software solutions. You will translate race team needs into Epics/Features/User Stories and align with timing, scoring, race strategy, and telemetry data.

You will work with architectures, developers, data scientists, and project managers to ensure timely releases, prioritize work, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including race teams, across NASCAR and IndyCar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with timing and scoring or race strategy software is required.
• Experience with backlog tracking tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Experience in an agile delivery environment is required.
• Past experience building software or B2B products helpful.

Responsibilities

• Translate software product strategies into requirements and roadmaps.
• Define priorities and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Drive software product releases with internal/external teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including race teams.
• Manage changes and cross-team coordination and status.
