The Staff Product Marketing Manager sits on the QuickBooks Emerging Mid-Market Marketing Team.

You will own the upgrade strategy, partner with Product and Product Growth, shape the upgrade narrative, and lead with experimentation to drive data-backed customer

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related customer-lifecycle role.
• Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ship improvements to the customer experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear, customer-facing messaging and align stakeholders.
• Comfort working in ambiguity with a bias toward testing and iterating.
• Fluent in a range of AI tools with demonstrable experience incorporating them into your workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own the upgrade strategy: define who should upgrade to Advanced and why, and how messaging evolves with customer/product changes.
• Partner across Product and Product Growth to shape in-product prompts, offers, and flows with customer and market insights.
• Define the upgrade narrative and value proposition; partner with channel teams to implement.
• Lead with experimentation and a bias toward testing and iteration.
