Qualifications

• Experience managing product work in technical domains such as infrastructure, scalability, or cloud services.
• Ability to work with deeply technical engineering teams and discuss system design.
• Knowledge of how SaaS or platform-based systems scale (multitenancy, horizontal scalability, autoscaling).
• Comfort engaging with customers or stakeholders on complex requirements.
• Skill in turning ambiguous problems into clear strategy and plans.
• Experience with qualitative customer interviewing and validation.
• Experience building business cases for build, buy, or partner options.
• Experience collaborating across product, engineering, UX, and other teams in distributed environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present at all company levels.

• Drive product strategy and direction for tenant scale and unified deployment across GitLab platforms.
• Set quarterly and annual plans for tenant portability and platform unification.
• Define requirements for the unified deployment platform.
• Partner with engineering teams to translate constraints into product direction.
• Collaborate with product peers across platforms and align cross-group work.
• Engage with customers to understand needs around isolation, regional deployment, and compliance.
• Build business cases for tenant scale investments and deployment options.
• Facilitate trade-off discussions on scalability and platform unification.
• Translate complex technical concepts into product plans and documentation.
• Represent GitLab in customer calls and events.
• Coach fellow product managers and share ownership across a pool of work.
