Job summary
Pacific Biosciences is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the library preparation portfolio and automation solutions, including whole-genome sequencing (WGS) and RNA workflows. You will collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and commercial teams to prioritize improvements that increase throughput and lab efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, genomics, biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Eight+ years of relevant life sciences and product-focused experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the library preparation and automation product portfolio across lifecycle stages.
- Engage with high-throughput labs and sequencing centers to gather needs and translate into requirements.
- Support Sales with capability communications, technical collateral, and trainings.
- Build and manage external automation partnerships and joint development activities.
- Forecast product demand, manage inventory considerations, and support supply planning.
- Maintain intel on library prep technologies, automation platforms, and competitive solutions.
- Represent PacBio at scientific conferences and customer meetings to identify opportunities.
