PacBio is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead its library preparation and automation portfolio, including whole-genome sequencing (WGS) and RNA sequencing (Kinnex) products, as well as related sample preparation and automation solutions.

You will work with customers, especially high-throughput labs, to translate needs into product requirements and roadmaps, coordinating with R&D, Manufacturing, and commercial teams to deliver improvements that enhance usability, throughput, and laboratory

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, genomics, biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant experience in life sciences, including product management or related roles.
• Strong understanding of NGS workflows and library preparation.
• Experience managing technical products and coordinating development activities.

Responsabilidades

• Own PacBio's library preparation portfolio (WGS and RNA) and related workflow solutions from concept to end of life.
• Engage with high-throughput labs to translate customer needs into product requirements.
• Support sales with product capabilities, collateral, and training materials; participate in strategic opportunities.
• Build and maintain external partnerships with automation providers and suppliers; coordinate joint development and testing.
• Forecast product demand with Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing; monitor revenue and adoption.
