Job summary

BILL is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Payments and Financial Services team to own the Ledger Subscriber Ecosystem and drive the TrueNorth ledger from internal system to an operating backbone for finance functions.

You will define the 3-year strategy, lead cross-functional delivery, and ship data products, reports, and APIs that enable Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, and Tax teams to operate more efficiently.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Product Management, with fintech/payments/enterprise SaaS focus on financial data or treasury.
• Direct experience building products for internal finance or operations users (Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, Payment Ops).
• Deep understanding of financial data flows: ledgering, reconciliation, month-end close, treasury and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Define the 3-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Ledger Subscriber Ecosystem.
• Build and ship ledger-reconciliation reports, data products, APIs, and workflows.
• Drive adoption of ledger-based workflows across Finance functions and replace spreadsheets.
• Own the subscriber ecosystem across Product, Eng, Data Platform, Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Audit, Legal, and CXO.
• Represent needs in ledger architecture decisions and align with downstream use cases.
• Set measurable outcomes for TPV on-ledger, reconciliation days reduction, and audit findings.
• Communicate trade-offs and risks to executives and mentor other PMs.
