Job summary

BILL, a growing fintech company, is seeking a Staff Product Manager for our Payments and Financial Services team to own the Ledger Subscriber Ecosystem and turn TrueNorth into a scalable operating backbone for finance. You will define the 3-year strategy and drive adoption across Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, and Tax.

This role collaborates with Product, Engineering, Data Platform, and Compliance to deliver reports, APIs, and data products, reduce manual work, and improve audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Product Management, with at least 4 years in fintech, payments, financial systems, or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience building products for internal finance or operations users, such as Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, or Payment Ops.
• Deep understanding of financial data flows: ledgering, sub-ledgers, reconciliation, month-end close.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs, influence senior leaders, and drive end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the 3-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Ledger Subscriber Ecosystem, translating priorities into a sequenced delivery plan.
• Build and ship subscriber platform capabilities including reconciliations, journals, and data products for analytics and forecasting.
• Drive adoption of ledger-based workflows across Treasury, Accounting, and Payment Ops, replacing spreadsheets and manual processes.
• Act as the single-threaded owner for the subscriber ecosystem, coordinating Product, Engineering, Data Platform, Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Audit, and Legal.
• Represent subscriber needs in ledger architecture decisions, ensuring schemas and controls support downstream use cases.
• Set and own measurable outcome metrics for the subscriber ecosystem, such as TPV on-ledger and audit finding reductions.
