Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a Staff PM for Cloud Networking to own the platform strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP, defining the multi-year roadmap for a scalable networking surface. You will partner with engineering leadership to frame decision criteria, build business cases, and align stakeholders to invest in platform bets that improve connectivity, security, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years owning a cloud infrastructure, platform, or networking product.
Track record of setting product strategy and roadmap at a platform or portfolio level.
Deep fluency in cloud networking concepts across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience serving enterprise customers with complex security/compliance needs.
Partner with engineering leadership as a co-decision-maker on architectural direction.
Strong ability to model unit economics, costs, and platform health metrics.
Practices AI-native product management, using AI as a thought partner throughout lifecycle.
Experience developing Product Managers and fostering product thinking.

Responsibilities

Own platform strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP with multi-year roadmap and sequencing.
Define frameworks for networking decision criteria, cost attribution, security controls, and launch readiness.
Drive architectural decisions with engineering leadership balancing UX, cost, and ops complexity.
Expand scope by identifying adjacent areas like network observability and cost tooling; build business cases.
Mentor Senior PMs and raise the bar on customer research and decision-making.
Align stakeholders and present the platform vision to executive leadership to secure investment.
Define and own platform success metrics linking tech milestones to business outcomes.
Engage strategic customers and CTOs, representing the roadmap in technical discussions.
